Revvio is in development. It currently supports Edexcel A-level Maths (9MA0) and Physics (9PH0), OCR Computer Science (H446) and AQA Design & Technology: Product Design (7552). AQA French (7652) currently covers text-based reading, translation and grammar; listening, speaking and set-work essays are not available. Paid subscriptions are not open. AI questions and marking can contain mistakes; use official specifications and your teacher's advice alongside any revision app.
Choose by the session, not the slogan
The useful question is not whether an app has the longest feature list. It is whether its workflow helps you complete the revision task you have chosen. A short recall exercise, an explanation of a new idea and a multipart written answer can call for different kinds of practice.
Revvio is designed around choosing topics and answering questions. It gives students a place to practise a small set of supported A-level courses, with working and final answers kept alongside each relevant question part.
What Seneca offers
Seneca's public site describes curriculum-matched courses, interactive revision and free access, with optional Premium packages. It also advertises exam questions with AI marking and an AI tutor. That means the choice is not simply AI versus no AI: it is about how you prefer to learn and which course features you need. See Seneca's current overview and check the course you actually study.
Where Revvio's approach may suit you
If you prefer to begin with a specific topic rather than navigate a broader learning course, Revvio puts that decision first. You can select multiple topics, choose quick checks or mixed questions and decide how many questions to attempt. A session has its own URL, so returning to unfinished work does not depend on reconstructing the original settings.
The review layout keeps one copy of each question and your response. Credited evidence appears in green in that response, with improvements and the expected answer below the part. This is intended to make a long written question easier to review on a phone as well as on a larger screen.
Reasons another tool may suit you better
Revvio's current course list is deliberately narrow, and it does not claim to match Seneca's wider course offering. If you need a different subject or an established course-based revision routine, check those options first. Revvio is also still in development; planned subscriptions are not an active checkout offer.
| What to compare | Question to ask yourself |
|---|---|
| Course fit | Does this tool support my exact board, qualification and topic? |
| Workflow | Do I want a guided course, a tutor or a bounded practice session? |
| Feedback | Can I explain why a mark was awarded and what to change? |
| Access and usage | What is free, what is paid, and what limits apply? |
Make the comparison concrete
Choose one topic from a recent test and write down the error you want to fix. After your next revision session, try to explain the corrected idea without the feedback in front of you. That gives you a more useful basis for judging a workflow than counting clicks or choosing the most confident marketing claim.
Revvio's planned subscriptions and token limits are published separately. For a resource-led approach, read our comparison with Save My Exams.
