Revvio is in development. It currently supports Edexcel A-level Maths (9MA0) and Physics (9PH0), OCR Computer Science (H446) and AQA Design & Technology: Product Design (7552). AQA French (7652) currently covers text-based reading, translation and grammar; listening, speaking and set-work essays are not available. Paid subscriptions are not open. AI questions and marking can contain mistakes; use official specifications and your teacher's advice alongside any revision app.
Resources and practice solve different problems
A revision resource helps you revisit what a course covers. A practice session asks you to retrieve and apply it. Both belong in a sensible routine: reading a clear explanation can fix a gap, while answering without the notes reveals whether the idea is available when you need it.
Revvio focuses on the practice side of that routine. You choose topics and work through original generated questions with a saved mark scheme. The question and answer stay together when the feedback arrives, so the next action is tied to the work you just attempted.
What Save My Exams provides
Save My Exams' A-level site lists course-specific revision notes, exam-style questions and past papers. Students can browse resources by subject and exam board. Its site also advertises Smart Mark AI feedback for selected subjects, so this is a comparison of workflows rather than AI versus no AI. If your priority is finding a bank of reference material to work through, that is an important reason to consider it. Check the Save My Exams A-level catalogue for the exact course and available resources.
Why choose Revvio for a focused session?
Sometimes the problem is not finding another page of notes. It is deciding what to do with the next twenty minutes. Revvio gives that session a boundary: select the topics, choose a difficulty and set a question count. Mixing two or three related topics can help you notice when a method that works in one context needs adapting in another.
The interface is designed to keep the response close to the relevant part of a question. Feedback identifies credited text and places improvements beneath that response. You can pause, resume from a session link and review earlier work from the dashboard. These are workflow choices, not a claim that generated material is more accurate than a curated resource.
What Revvio is not replacing
Revvio is not currently a comprehensive notes library or an official past-paper archive. Its original practice questions should supplement genuine exam-board material. Use official papers to become familiar with the assessment format, and check uncertain AI feedback against a specification, mark scheme or teacher.
| Your next task | A useful starting point |
|---|---|
| Revisit a concept you have forgotten | Notes or a clear explanation |
| Attempt selected topics in a short session | Revvio's topic-first workflow |
| Practise a real exam's timing and structure | Official exam-board papers and mark schemes |
| Correct a specific error | Your answer, its feedback and a fresh attempt |
Use the combination deliberately
Choose a small topic, read only enough to repair a gap, then close the explanation and attempt a question. When you review the answer, record the exact change you need to make: a unit, a missing link in an explanation, or an unsupported step in a calculation. Revisit that change in your next session rather than rereading the whole resource automatically.
