Revvio is in development. It currently supports Edexcel A-level Maths (9MA0) and Physics (9PH0), OCR Computer Science (H446) and AQA Design & Technology: Product Design (7552). AQA French (7652) currently covers text-based reading, translation and grammar; listening, speaking and set-work essays are not available. Paid subscriptions are not open. AI questions and marking can contain mistakes; use official specifications and your teacher's advice alongside any revision app.

Start with the job you need help with

Choosing a revision app is easier when you describe the next task rather than search for a universal winner. Do you need someone to explain an unfamiliar concept, a place to practise a particular specification topic, or feedback on an answer you have already written? Those needs overlap, but they are not identical.

Revvio is built around a bounded practice session: choose your subject, select one or several topics, set the difficulty and number of questions, then work through the answers. Its main advantage for a student who wants that workflow is the short route from a topic choice to a question.

What Medly offers

Medly describes its product as an AI tutor for GCSE and A-level study, with additional qualifications and exam boards also supported. Its public tutor page presents personalised guidance and answer marking and support linked to the exam board. That broader tutoring proposition may suit students who want to ask follow-up questions across several courses. See Medly's own AI tutor overview for its current offering.

Where Revvio may be a better fit

If you already know which topic needs work, a practice-led interface can be more useful to you when your goal is to attempt a bounded set of questions. Revvio lets you mix selected topics within a session, choose quick checks or mixed questions, and keep a saved session URL so you can return to the same work.

For multipart questions, each answer belongs directly beneath its part. After marking, the answer stays in that position. Credited evidence is highlighted, followed by guidance and an expected answer. The aim is to make it easier to connect a particular mistake with the change you should make, without reading a second copy of the question further down the page.

Revvio does not currently offer Medly's breadth of qualifications. It is not a replacement for a teacher or an official examiner, and a green highlight is practice feedback rather than proof that a future examiner would award the same mark.

A practical way to choose

Take one topic from a recent lesson and decide what you need to do next. If it is understanding the explanation, explore a tutoring workflow. If it is turning understanding into an answer, try a short practice session and inspect the feedback carefully. Judge the experience by whether it helps you explain and correct your reasoning, not by how many features appear on a homepage.
